When I went to look at my options (also attached) I didn't see this anywhere... was it removed? I have lately become concerned maybe I am not getting enough Vitamin A on a vegan diet and wanted to ask why this measurement doesn't seem to be available to me.

Why is this not on the dashboard? Is it a slider I haven't selected? Even the charts don't tell you what your current weight is and it is FRUSTRATING!!!

The numbers above don’t make sense. I’ve consumed 13.1g of protein, and that’s more than 51 calories. And I’ve consumed 4.7g carbs, but that’s not 61 calories. The fat calories seem close-ish. What conversion factors are you using? This seems to be throwing off my ratios.

Hi, The Oura sleep is imported into a different dataset than the biometric sleep data. It would be better if they were the same perhaps, but see the comment about selection below.

Also, by way of a request for improvement, could the Sleep section when selected also import the REM, Deep, Light and Awake sleep data. Perhaps also the sleep efficiency data.

Further request, could the Readiness % also be imported. Here of course, as there is already a Readiness biometric, it should be imported into that biometric in preference OR the ability to keep that and the sleep data as selectable for destination would be handy, i.e. we could select to send sleep data to Sleep or Sleep (Oura), Readiness to Readiness or Readiness (Oura). Some may wish to keep them separate.

Vitamin/mineral deficiencies on a low-calorie diet

I tracked my food intake this past Tuesday. It was an oppressively hot day (96 degrees), so I didn't eat much - only 1511 calories! (Under the traditional 4/9/4 formula, I consumed 1580 calories.) While I did get enough fiber (44.9 grams), I was short on Vitamin K (45% of my target). If it hadn't been for my zinc supplement, I would have come up short there, at only 82% of my target. If it hadn't been for my Vitamin B complex supplement, I would have come up short on pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), at just 83% of my target.

Even in summer, I normally eat a few hundred calories more per day, and that makes it easier to meet my vitamin and mineral targets. On a bitterly cold day back in February, I consumed about double the calories that I consumed this past Tuesday.

I realize that I came up way short on Vitamin K because I didn't consume broccoli or Brussel sprouts. The vegetables that I did eat on Tuesday weren't that high in this nutrient.

Because I eat much less food overall in summer compared to winter, the variety I consume is less. Because I eat more vegetables in winter (simply because I'm eating more food overall), it's easier to eat a variety.

My questions:
1. How do people on low-calorie diets get enough vitamins and minerals without relying on supplements? While my deficiencies on Tuesday were a one-off, this wouldn't be the case if I were deliberately limiting my calories.
2. How do people who live in places with oppressively hot weather get enough vitamins and minerals? Since I live in the Twin Cities, MN, weather as oppressively hot as Tuesday's weather is rare. Temperatures in the mid-90s or higher are the norm in places like Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Fresno, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, and Yuma. Places like New Orleans, Miami, Tampa, and Orlando aren't nearly as hot but easily make up for it with excessive humidity. If I lived in one of these places notorious for oppressive summer heat, I might end up with some nutritional deficiencies simply because my small appetite limits my consumption of some nutrients.

Hi guys and gals...

I am pretty much happy with my settings in Cronometer but wanted to make sure they are pretty much on track.

In my Settings, I'm using the BMR of Miffin St Jeor Equation. I turned my activity level off because when on AND linking to my FitBit it set my Fat goal to 250+g... Cronometer peeps said to shut it off (activity level setting) and let the linked FitBit do its thing.

Under Targets, I have Tracking Carbs: Net Carbs without Sugar. Macros are set as: Ketogenic Calculator - and that is set to Custom:

Grams of protein per kilo: 0.8
Have my carbs max set to: 12
Athletic bonus off.

With all that in place, my goals come out to:

Energy: 1830 kcal
Protein: 47g
Net carbs: 12
Fat: 177.1g

For the vets in the group, does this look pretty accurate?

Thanks for any feedback and for your time on this long post.

Kind regards,
Dave

I have been asking my clients use this app for the past four years to track specific nutrients for chronic health conditions and am finding it is becoming less useful as the data becomes less accurate and is incomplete. When the nutrient data is limited to what's on the food label, it is almost useless to me because we're interested in the omega-6 and omega-3's, magnesium, zinc, choline, etc. Is there a solution to this? If I buy the paid version, is the data more complete? Thanks for any assistance.

The app doesn’t set them accordingly either when I choose that as the diet plan, which I would have hoped it would do since I’m paying for it. Can you recommend one? Or tell me how to do it through this so far useless app?

I do the trend graphs and choose Keto Score and it is interesting, but is there a way to show WHY it would be lower than it could be? Is there no "summary" of why it is calculating out the way it is? Kinda useless if you can't see why it is the way it is and how to "fix" it in your eating habits. Thanks in advance for any help.
