I don't think there is anything wrong with adopting a modern responsive design. Things can't always stay the same. Locking the old UI in might please long-time users but it will be a turn-off to attr…4 -

On mobile, you can click on it(in the diary view) and then click the star at the top. On the web, it is a few more clicks because you have to view it first.1
