Re: Water tracking 2.0
Retrying this post from the desktop: Aha I think I figured it out. It has to do with the conversation from volume to weight. (Since weight is what it shows when you look at it in the diary.) I'd always assumed that 1 fluid ounce of water weighs exactly 1 ounce, but apparently it weighs a little more than an ounce, around… -

Re: Omega 6 to Omega 3
I'm confused by this as well if 14 grams of Omega 6 hits 100% target at a 2 to 1 ratio as recommended by research that would be 7 grams of Omega 3, or if you go for 1 to 1 which many say is even better that's 14 grams of Omega 3. Is 14 grams of Omega 3 too much? Would it be better to have 7 grams of Omega 6 and 5 grams of… -

Export grams next to serving size in diary
Hi, I started using Cronometer recently. I'm keen on using PowerBI to generate me some nice visuals on my progress. Therefore I'm using the export data-option to CSV-files. Works perfectly but I have one request: In your diary you can enter self-defined servings, like 1 piece of chocolate = 10 grams. When you export your… -
Smaller quantity in Food Data Base has more calories?
How can 1/4 cup have 180 calories and 1/3 cup have 140 calories? Are the cup and other measures reliable? For all foods? Which unit is reliable? Note that is shows fewer "g" for 1/4 cup than for 1/3 cup (which seems right, but have not checked the actual numbers), and more kCal for 1/4 cup than for 1/3 cup (which is… -
Nutrient Balances
From what I have read on the internet, nutrient ratios that are recommended are different than Cronometer's green-marked guages. For example: The recommended Potassium:Sodium seems to around 3:1, but the green guage shows that to be around 6. The recommended Zinc:Copper ratio seems to be between 8:1 and 12:1, but the green… -
ANDI Scores (Nutrition Scores)
It would be awesome if CRONOMETER would incorporate a food nutrition score for reporting and food selections. One such rating system is the ANDI, but whatever one you choose is better than none. The Aggregate Nutrient Density Index or ANDI is a scoring system that rates foods on a scale from 1 to 1000 based on nutrient…
