Is there a way to import a recipe by pasting the url?
Not currently, no.
I would love to see this added. Or, copy and paste an ingredient list?
@Captain_Ron you can add a list of ingredients to a custom food or recipe or a saved copy of a recipe to the Notes Section. When adding ingredients to a recipe created in Cronometer, it is best to choose which listings you would like to use for your ingredients yourself, as it is important to be sure you have the best approximation. I would suggest using NCCDB or USDA listings if you are tracking micronutrients. It is also best to choose listings that contain a gram measurement in order to create accurate serving sizes. So I can cut a list of ingredients from a recipe on a web site and paste that into a new recipe on Cronometer? All i see is the ability to add one ingredient at a time.
No, this is not a feature. I meant that if you wanted simply a list of ingredients included in your recipe (Some people might want the directions for cooking it as well) you can copy and paste that into the notes section of the recipe. You will have to add each ingredient to the recipe separately as you will have to choose your entries carefully to get the most accurate data for your specific purposes as described in my previous post.
