Giant Rugelachs
Twenty years ago, we had a contract near Bea's deli in Tarzana, California. In that place there are Giant Rugelachs, but not quite. They're a hybrid challahru/regelach innocently named "cinnamon rolls."
Last week, I ordered 24 delivered to my house 1500 miles away; it's like a dope fiend getting his fix through UPS. At least 900 calories in one 8 oz roll and I swear I can eat two in one go. For dessert. After my 2400 calorie day.
I need to toss them out; the batch isn't even the best, but I'm seriously struggling with this.

I threw the rest out and within two days dropped three pounds (I work in the construction biz, so rapid weight loss is expected). In another twenty years, I'll order some more.

I made the mistake of throwing them into the kitchen's paper trash can, so I actually got one out of the bag and scarfed it. I did take a bite in honor of the skinny crew at cronometer.
Now, I will walk the remaining evil buns outside and toss them for the deer. Right now; I'm serious. 9000 calories for the deer and I hope they get fat.
