Why the week doesn't start from Monday?

I think there's a bug in your software and the week doesn't start Monday but on Sunday?

Please fix it.

    The week starts on Monday because it ends on the weekEND emphasis on END. Americans are weird and think half the weekEND is at the start of the week. No idea why, just weird. But at least their good software recognises that they are out of step with the rest of the world and allow users to customise what day they want at the start. Please be the good software.

    I agree that us Americans are weird and I wish there was an option to change this as well. However, linguistically speaking, keep in mind that bookends are not on just on one side of the books. And we also might say "on either end..." ;-)

    My diary sez the week starts on Sunday. I remember having a diary on a Chinese 6 day week.
