Inverse Exercise Calories

Very simple feature request: Allow to make inverse (i.e. positive) exercise calorie entries, just like the existing possibility to add negative amounts of food. In some cases the imported exercise or activity calories from external services can be too high (in a known way) and it would be nice to be able to correct it by simply adding positive exercise calories.
Currently, it appears impossible to make such inverse exercise entries and instead I have to completely delete the imported entries (which are continuously updated in my case, Oura) and then add the full amount of corrected activity calories.

  • Hey, just wanted to add my support for this request — the lack of negative or “correction” entries is a pain when you’re trying to track accurately.

At the moment, a workaround is to create a fake food entry with positive calories to simulate a negative adjustment, but that messes up the “calories consumed” side of the diary. It makes it look like I’ve eaten more, when in reality I’m just adjusting for overestimated exercise burns. The total balance might still add up, but the category breakdown becomes meaningless — especially if you’re trying to monitor intake vs expenditure separately.

[I'm also interested in the possibilty of making the exercise entries repeating, like food) - but will raise that separately to make tracking requests easier].

An last, but not least, I love this app.
