Unwanted feature

I just got the premium version and it's giving me something I don't want. It's got these categories breakfast lunch dinner and snacks and then at the top it's uncategorized. I don't need to separate food into meals everything should be uncategorized but to get that I have to select uncategorized each time I want to enter some food. Can I just delete those four new categories breakfast lunch dinner and snacks? I can't see any way to delete them.

  • Thank you so much it worked

  • I have another question I hope it's all right if I put it here. I've been wondering how other people log hair washing and showers. Those obviously use calories especially with long hair and yet I looked back at my history and I have never logged it as exercise. There is no such category in the exercises. So today I chose hairdressing standing it's not exactly it but what else is there unless cleaning. Or do people just ignore it and consider the calories used up are almost zero? Apparently that's what I used to do. But why is there no category for that? It uses up a lot more calories than for example unloading the dishwasher which is called kitchen work.

  • An average person burns approximately 40 to 55 calories per hour while sleeping, totalling around 320 to 440 calories for an eight-hour night.

  • Yes but when I was thinking about the actual calories involved I wondered why they bothered to put cleaning when it might be just sweeping the floor for 5 minutes but they don't think washing your hair uses calories because it obviously does a lot more than sweeping a floor. But I'm allowed to count as exercise everything I do in the kitchen. Before they changed it they even had the category sitting playing with dogs. Literally. So I guess most people just don't expend much energy washing their hair. I mean they must have taken a vote on what to include as household exercise.

  • Occasionally I vacuum me two bedroom apartment which can take some time but would never bother with adding that time in or making supper etc. I walk everywhere like today the gym is 15 mins and workout 45 mins with heavy weights then walk back, then do 30 mins of advance Tai Chi. The Tai Chi is logged as moderate but it's much more advanced than the old folks in the park and include sword and sabre form with 2.5lb weapons, so what do I really burn. This evening we're walking downtown to see a play and that's about 40 mins each way,

I log this stuff to see my exercise activity as a record and not concerned about calories burnt. I just look at me daily macros and micros and it varies a lot. I even stop tracking for awhile and check back and see how I'm doing.
