Un-retiring a retired recipe

Soooo, I accidentally retired a recipe I was still using. I have leftovers I still need to eat and no way to track it now!

Is there a way to bring a retired recipe back from retirement?
I feel so dumb. I was just so excited to finally get recipes I don't use anymore out that I was a bit overzealous. Eh heh.

Hi @ruthiechan if you have used that recipe before, go to a day you know that you used in on the web version of Cronometer. Right Click on the diary entry and select "View/Edit Food". Then select the Gear icon in the top right corner and select "Un-retire food".

Jan 2026 and my web version does not show a gear icon with option to un-retire food. So in 2026 how can a retired food or recipe be un-retired? Note that other suggestions such as edit a copy of retired recipe don’t work because the edited copy appears to be automatically retired when it is saved (see older report and new comment under Bug Reports)
