MCP Server
Can you expose an MCP server so that we can connect Cronometer to Agentic AI solutions?

They don't even expose an API so this isn't happening anytime soon. I would be pleasantly surprised; it's really the only thing that keeps me looking for competitors

That would be great to simply summarize to your agent what you ate at the end of the day and have it log the calories for you even being able to add recipes would be fantastic.

I want this so bad! Cronometer is so stuck in the past. It's frustrating. Open things up, especially for paid customers. I want to be able to create an agent that takes a nutritional label and turns it into a food or recipe for multiple items.

Agreed. I use MCP server for garmin and other apps, and feel this would be of great benefit to get some sort of AI assist.

I would like this as well. I use Claude, if it helps.

AI is increasingly the interface people want to use for everything. For a platform like cronometer with paid memberships to lock your data behind their lack of APIs is really disappointing. Our data collection and analysis is main value cronometer offers - why are we only allowed to benefit from that data in the ways that cronometer allows?

Ditto. I've built my setup that somewhat works but an official MCP or CLI tool that an agent could interact with is the future imo.
