Polar Flow: daily activity, sleep no longer syncing

Hello.

For about a week, the syncing with Polar Flow has been just plain bad. The first few days, the exercises were not syncing. This is no longer an issue since last Friday, however since that same day, my sleep and Daily Activity is just no longer syncing.
This situation is extremely annoying as I have to rely on MyFitnessPal to track my caloric budget (MFP integration with Polar just works). But that does mean having to enter my food in two separate apps, which is a major pain in the wazoo and not sustainable in the long term.

  • Hello @joce we have been having some problems with our connection with Polar as you have noted. Unfortunately, this seems to be coinciding with some problems on Polar's end as well, magnifying the problem. Have you tried unlinking and relinking your polar account? Unlink Cronometer from your polar flow app/ website, then try relinking on Cronometer.

  • I just unlinked/relinked. It doesn't look like Daily Activity and/or Sleep was picked up.
    Let's see how it fares in the morning.

  • So... nope. Even after the unlink / relink and waiting until the next day, still no Sleep and no Daily Activity. :-(

  • Any news regarding the problems syncing from Polar?
    Today it stopped working completely for me...
    No error messages, just no sync. :-(

  • Hi!

    A work around that seems to work is to connect Google Fit to your Polar account.
    Then sync Cronometer against Google Fit instead.

    This was my original setup but about 2 months ago there were syncing problems against Google Fit so I connected Cronometer against Polar instead.
    Hopefully the syncing problems against Google Fit are resolved, if so I will continue with this setup.
