Would like to see a new Option to group foods together as a meal when they are not a recipe, right now the only way to do that is to group foods together like lets say Cereal and Milk or eggs bacon and toast as recipes.

Diary groups have absolutely nothing to do with the question I am asking, I am not asking about setting diary groups like Breakfast or lunch, I am referring creating meals just like the sample I sent above, so say i have cereal and milk often I can create it as a meal right now the only way to do that create it as recipe. I don’t want to sound rude but the answer provided did not really answer my question.

My apologies for not answering your question appropriately @fitgirl; Sorry for any misunderstanding! Diary groups offer a way to group foods or items that you have logged together. You can then take group actions with them as a group instead of separately.
It sounds like you are looking for something similar to the recipes feature which lists them in a separate area to those that are proper recipes. Is this correct? If so we will certainly keep this in mind for future; Thanks for the suggestion.
Diary groups offer a way to group foods or items together but again you can only save as a recipe not a meal or can group them then copy and paste to another day,
I provided a photo which shows exactly what I am referring to the photo is so straight forward but it seems like maybe your still not sure what I mean .you have a tab for your custom foods and recipes which you already have and then there is one that is for meals so again for example for breakfast if I am having cereal and milk I can go to my diary and choose the option to group them as a meal rather then a recipe.
