Net chart incorrect

Hi,

Just noticed that the net chart is (or would be) a LOT more useful than the total calories chart. Cronometer has this neat possibility to ignore empty days. However, the net calories chart (Btw, it's pretty small, can we get a bigger one in settings or trends or somewhere else) just shows -1.8kcal for each empty day. This is not useful at all, as some days I am intentionally leaving out.

I just noticed this as well! Luckily Gold users can access a net Calories graph on the trends tab as well, where you can choose day types, but it would be great to get this easy reference graph on the diary page to have more specified data. I will pass this request along!
(Note: That approx -1800 kcal value will be a reflection of your BMR and activity levels)
To access the Net Calories graph, go to the trends tab, then Scroll down to the Nutrients graph. Choose Net calories from the dropdown menu, then choose your day type accordingly. You can learn more about charts here: https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018298812-Charts

    - yes, if an empty day were truly an empty day. However, empty days are, as I understand it, precisely with the purpose of letting them out of the system.

When I actually want a calorieless day, I can just put water (0 cals) or coffee (5 cals) on the diary, the day is taken into account in calorie averages, and it works great. We would just need this to also be reflected in the homepage net calorie chart, as it is (or rather, would be!) a much, much more useful tool than simply how many calories you ingested.

  • Thanks,
We have logged this as a bug with our developers. It will be addressed in order of importance. We are a small team here at Cronometer, and must prioritize feature requests and bug fixes based on multiple factors.
In the meantime, you can view the net calories graph in the trends tab, and even filter for complete/incomplete/empty days.
