net carbs and fiber in custom food

Hi, I noticed that putting the fiber in a custom food does not result in the net carb result I expected. For example, total carbs for a serving of white beans = 15 g. Fiber is 7 g. The net carbs should be 8 g, but when I enter this as custom food I get a higher amount than that for that serving. Is this a glitch or am I calculating incorrectly?
