Label choice / sort function on recipies

So I came across two little ones:

First: If I create a new recipie, choose "european label" and hit save it will switch back to "american label". I need to choose "european label" again and save, so it will stay that way.

Second: The sort function does not work for the recipies. Or at least I don't know what it is sorting for. Arranges them in a random way - at least it looks like it.

1) Thanks for Noticing that. I have submitted this as a bug and will hopefully be fixed soon.
2)The Recipe sort Function sorts by date created. So it will sort either by newest first or oldest first
