Calories on custom food doesn't show up

I added a custom food (panera torilla soup) since it wasn't in the prepopulated drop down, I added all the info into the areas off the container, but when it comes to the calories for that item there is no place to enter it. I thought if I upgraded to gold that would show me the calories entry but no it doesn't. How am I able to enter calories on something I do off the custom list? thanks
