Edit Custom Dates - why doesn't it keep the month selected?

When I go to Trends -> Nutrition Report -> Custom Range, and want to Edit Custom Dates, if I have just selected some dates, and want to edit by a few days, each time I have to scroll back to the month I am interested in.

For example I selected 12 April 2020 to 14 May 2020, but when I want Edit Custom Dates then I still see the current month, and have to scroll back to April and May. It's a lot of work if I am analyzing a few years back!

Also why can't I scroll by years, only one month at a time?
