[suggestion] diary group: copy previous day

As someone who often eats the same thing from day to day for certain meals (but not necessarily the whole day): I would love to see ability to have a diary group shortcut (in the three dot menu in the label area of the group) that would copy in the previous day's entries for just that group. Similar to the top-level three dot menu functionality to "copy previous day," but more focused to a single group.

Apologies if this has been suggested in the past or if it's already in the roadmap.

thanks for the suggestion @wdavidow. For now, just want to confirm you have discovered the copy function for diary groups? Swipe right to copy, then paste the group selection on whatever day you wish. Not quite the feature you are after here, but a close second!

@Hilary yes, I use that feature often! Definitely a time saver. I think the functionality I mentioned here would be an improvement on that, but you’re right this is definitely a close second :)

Love that y’all added this - i know it hasn’t been called out as a feature to test in the current beta release, but I did notice it’s there... it seems buggy (maybe that’s why it wasn’t mentioned for testing lol) - right now it copies the entire previous day.

@wdavidow thanks for pointing this out. In order for this feature to work we actually need to deploy our test servers to production. So stay tuned should be fully functional in the next prod build
