How to Interpret Transatlantic Mineral Data

I wonder how people who live of EU agriculture, like me, can make sense of cronometer's selenium values (and others), since in many European countries the soil is significantly lower in some minerals. In case of a whole food plant base diet this is very important.
Will there be data bases with EU values?

  • Honestly this is an issue for everyone. Trace minerals in many foods depend on the soil the food was grown in, which regardless of your region of the world may be significantly different from the soil the database samples were grown in.

If you know of appropriate data sources, suggest them to the cronometer team. They seem happy to add entries based on reliable data sources.
