Adaptive TDEE would make Cronometer Perfect
Hi team,
If you guys added an option for adaptive TDEE calculation this would be Cronometer perfect in my eyes.
For the Adaptive TDEE to work accurately users would need to be consistent with food logging, and daily bodyweight entries. The calculation works by using the consumed calories and the change in weight.
It takes a few weeks of logging for it to produce accurate results, but it's much better than TDEE multipliers and smart watch calories etc.
Obviously it should be an option for users to select or deselect as they please, or the maybe allow it to be shown alongside the other calculation.
I've been entering data manually into this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shumate.tdeeCalculator (but got lazy and haven't entered since Dec 2021!)
If you need help with the calculation / formulas, I believe this spreadsheet is one of the best resources: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7gGXXQIy4R4ejRRNkZHZHFDOW8/view?resourcekey=0-6D2ColRi_grLWCiE63F0MA
Thanks.

Macrofactor has adaptive tdee and also there is Macrocodex
MacroFactor costs $71.99/year.
You can instead use Cronometer with Google Health Connect and pair it with MacroCodex (free, no ads, no subscription). It gives you adaptive TDEE along with built-in lean bulk, cut, and recomp tracking features.
And i just use Cronometer because it's a much better and reliable imho.
When cronometer already supports Google HC, you can use any other app for estimating Maintenance Calories.
