[bug] Recent custom foods and recipes from friends not syncing across

Both beta web and phone apps.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Add a friend with a custom food or recipe created after 28 Oct 2022 (for Australia) or thereabouts.
  2. On your own beta diary, search for the custom food.
  3. Custom food entry does not appear.
  4. On the standard release app, search for the same custom food. The custom food returns as a result.

The custom foods on or before ~28 Oct 2022 (for Australia) are appearing in the search, but anything after that is not showing up on the beta web app and phone app.
