“Invalid data” error received when creating new foods
Hi all,
Happy Wednesday to everybody. As of yesterday (10/8/2024) I have been unable to create new foods using existing ones for basis. Here is an example - I wanted to edit the USDA entry for “Milk, buttermilk, dried” using the following data (source:
)
Here is what happens when I try to create a new entry, but not changing any of the original values - unfortunately I got the same error:
I experience the same issue when trying to create other new entries, e.g. the entry for “Walnut, Oil”. I contacted the Support team ~12 hrs ago but have not received a response. I am not aware if I need to do any troubleshooting and, if yes, what should I do.
Is anybody else experiencing the same issue and do you know a way out of it?

I've always had some issues (of various degrees) creating new foods in the mobile app.
and do you know a way out of it?
Probably not the answer you want to hear, but since I've switched to the web browser, I never had any issues.
