Sorting Favorite Foods Alphabetically on Desktop Version
I am a relatively new user of Cronometer. I'm older and prefer using the desktop version. I'm VERY frustrated by not being able to sort Favorites alphabetically. I see this has been an ongoing complaint/request for years! The general, and in my opinion, unacceptable response from Cronometer is "type in the first few letters of the food you're looking for". I understand programming resources are limited but surely adding this simply ability is not that difficult. You provide this capability on the phone app so why not add this small capability to the desktop version that has been wanted by so many for years?

Love this idea....I've also thought it would be helpful to have foods categorized i.e., fruits, veggies, plant milk, etc. I've also thought it would be helpful to not add suggested items to the food lists. Even considering these suggestions, I'm an avid fan of chronometer. Welcome mtlycrew to chronometer!

As always question is does the crono team have the data to work with. Well in the NCCDB are these two data fields. Of course may not be available for USDA tables and user requests to continue to add other international databases.
NCC Food Group Category Foods are classified into NCC-defined food group categories.
NCC Food Group Foods are further classified into NCC-defined food groups which are subcategories of the NCC Food Group Categories.
