Editing a Custom Food Recipe after Completing my Day
Why does editing a Custom Food Recipe after Completing my logging day throw a “revert” warning? I would understand if I was actually adding it to my diary, but should adjusting a saved recipe really be a problem? For context, I was adjusting a few measurements in a recipe I prepared tonight, that we will cook and enjoy tomorrow.

This is what I have done in this instance: Right click on custom food, select 'explode recipe' which lists each ingredient separately. I then adjust the measurement at that point, or even delete altogether. Doesn't change the original recipe. There might be a more tidier solution but this has worked for me so far. Good luck!

Thanks, that’s a great tip. I was more concerned with how come working on something other than the diary, when the day is closed, would want my diary to be unlocked (unclosed?)?

In my experience, if I change a custom food recipe, I always get the option to change or not change all past entries when I select 'save'. I have not used the 'revert' button; appears to just replace change with original amount (could be used to just see what the change will do to nutrition details???? Not sure the logistics of it.)
When I use the same recipe a few times and change an ingredient or measurement, I click on the three dots and select 'edit a copy'...then rename the recipe (ie. Vanilla Creami #1, Vanilla Creami #2...when we are switching up the dairies...yum!!)
I am still learning; so far, works better than any meal tracking app I've used. I use the Fasting module as well. Still some glitches, but I try to find work arounds.
Hope this helps. -
Absolutely, I’ve used MFP, Carbmanager, etc. Chronometer beats them all, and they listen to their customers!
