Fiber, IN GRAMS, as a "macro" please

The US RDA for fiber is pathetic. A lot more fiber is a lot healthier.
And Cronometer is not helping me track my grams of fiber, the way it helps me track my grams of protein, etc.

My dream is for Cronometer to have an option for a slider at the top of the diary, along with the other macros, so I could establish fiber IN GRAMS (not in percentages of RDA), and watch throughout the day as I meet that "extra" macro, not just protein / fat / carb. After all, I can establish how much protein I need per day. I would LOVE to establish how much fiber as well.

Pretty please? How can I do this?

  • Agree with your sentiment. I set a specific target for fiber, in grams (50 g) and then track it as a target nutrient. It only show % of my goal, but it is still useful since it is not tied to the RDA.
