Apple Activity Tracking
I've read some posts that are 5 years old, but I'm still not seeing what I need.
I have the app synced with my Apple Watch. My watch is also connected to my stationary bike. I started my Apple Watch to track my workout (indoor cycling), but now I feel like I double-logged and shouldn't do this.
I have three entries:
1. Cycling (Apple Health) - which is correct and the one I want to keep
2. Cycling (Apple Health) - which is incorrect (different kcal) and I want to delete
3. Active Energy Balance (Apple Health) - which I don't even understand.
The only way to delete the last two is to disconnect my Apple Watch, which I don't want to do since I want it to count my steps and other activity.
Two questions:
1. How do I delete these two items? If I can't, then my kcal burned today is 3x what I actually did. If I disconnect my Apple Watch, it will delete them, but then I lose the benefits of connecting my device.
2. Should I not engage my Apple Watch in exercise and only let it count my steps? In other words, when I go for a 4-mile walk, should I not start the "outdoor walk" feature on my Apple Watch?
Please advise. I am enjoying the app, but this is not helping me track my daily exercise and accurate kcal count properly.

I didn't want my activity from my Apple Watch added to my calories to burn and I posted about it here. Someone helped me out, and this was within the past 8 months.
There is a setting somewhere deep in Apple Watch or Health where you determine what your watch does and doesn't share.
You could always choose to NOT share it, and enter your exercise manually into Cronometer. I have mine set so my Health data flows through, but not my exercise.
