Micronutrients
I'm not too concerned about how accurate my macro's are but keep an eye on micronutrients. Recently bought a whey protein that now has added zinc but with my other food and vitamin tabs that already have zince mine goes over 40, Niacin is always in the red.
Back in 2004 I did a heavy weight training program that actually called for a gallon of whole milk a day, I drank 5 cups of 3.25% milk and gain 24 lbs in 4 months plus me strength skyrocketed. Now I read not to drink more than 3 a day coz of too much calcium. Nowadays a cup with morning cereal and a cup with supper. In the evening I like heated dark chocolate soy milk. I take a calcium, magnesium, zinc tablet as well, zinc total is 39mg and calcium 2000mg
