Adjustable Athletic Bonus Multiplier in Keto Calculator

Hi Cronometer Team,

I’m using the Keto Target Calculator in a slightly unconventional way:
I keep my protein target fixed (based on lean body mass) and only vary carbs and fats dynamically.

The current Athletic Bonus adds 1 g of carbs per 50 kcal of exercise.
This is helpful, but it’s too conservative for athletes who are not following a strict ketogenic diet and can comfortably tolerate higher carb intake around training.

Feature idea:
Please allow users to manually increase the Athletic Bonus multiplier (e.g., from 1 g/50 kcal to higher values like 10 g/50 kcal).

This would:

Make carb targets scale more realistically with training load.

Help athletes match carbohydrate intake to actual energy expenditure.

Preserve the logic of the Keto Calculator while allowing non-keto athletes to benefit from its dynamic adjustment.

The UI already has an “Athletic Bonus” field — expanding it with a customizable multiplier (or even a simple slider) would solve the issue neatly.
