Game Changer

Hello,
I use this pink-haired avatar and nickname Herzenity. I am 67, cis het female, married, kids, grandkids, cats, living in SoCal (that is shorthand for southern California).
After Fitbit's food entry feature bugged out, I went hunting for a different food tracking app and learned about Cronometer from a site I trusted (Center for Science in the Public Interest, CSPI).
What a GAME CHANGER, eh?!
Wow. Where has this knowledge been hiding all my life?!
I have wanted for the longest time to speak with a registered dietitian and have had trouble finding one in my insurance network, and the RDs out of network won't consult unless my PCP is in their medical group, which is >50 miles away. I'm not changing my Primary Care Physician just so I can talk to an RD! Certainly not going >50 miles for primary care. So I've been stuck guessing as to my dietary needs, specific to medical conditions I have (which I write openly about at my Herzenity blogspot).
Anyway, this is just a quick HEY from a new and ecstatic Cronometer user, committed to relating to food as preventive medicine, and my primary cure for what ails me.
Cheers! :)
