Help with Blood Pressure

How are you all bringing your blood pressure down? Is it true what they are saying that strength training is a good way to help? I know all about aerobics, but what else are you doing to help your bp? I absolutely have to take off 15 pounds and it's so dammed hard. Unbelievable. I walk 30 minutes most days and if not 30 then for sure 20. But need to add different ideas and exercises. What are your thoughts?
