Preview how adding a food affects today's macro and micronutrient targets

I would love to see an optional toggle or checkbox when adding a food that shows the impact that food would have on my current daily macro and micronutrient totals before I save it.

For example, if I am adding two eggs, the nutrient screen could show my current intake for the day, plus a clearly separated "preview" section showing what the eggs would add. This could make it much easier to see whether a food helps fill nutritional gaps, pushes me over a limit, or turns my carefully planned day into a micronutrient jump scare.

One possible approach could be:

  • A white bar for the nutrients already consumed so far today
  • A separate white preview bar for the nutrients added by the food, if the total stays below 100%
  • A green preview bar when adding the food helps reach the AI or RDI
  • A red preview bar when adding the food would exceed the UL

For example:

Vitamin A
[White bar: current daily intake] + [White bar: amount added by eggs] = 65%

Selenium
[White bar: current daily intake] + [Red bar: eggs push intake above the UL] = 520%

Choline
[White bar: current daily intake] + [Green bar: eggs help reach the AI] = 100%

Vitamin D
[Green bar: already reached daily target] + [Red bar: eggs push intake above the UL] = 1200%

The main thing I am looking for is a quick visual way to answer: "What happens to my day if I add this food?"

Right now, it is easy to see the nutrition details of the food itself, but it would be really useful to preview the food's impact in the context of the entire day. This would make it easier to choose between similar foods, avoid accidentally exceeding upper limits, and identify which foods actually help fill remaining nutrient gaps.
