why causes two days of logging to suddenly show up as one days worth??

I signed in today to start adding and saw that yesterday is empty, so I looked at the day before and somehow Cronometer combined 2 days worth of logging into one day. Is this a common error? Why would this happen? Is there maybe a choice I could have hit by mistake?

    I find sometimes, the days empty out entirely. I close the app and reopen it and everything is back to normal. Not sure if that would apply to your situation as well or not.
