Feature Request: Copy / Import Client-Created Recipes into Coach Library

Hi everyone,

I am a health and fitness coach utilizing Cronometer Professional to manage my clients. I want to bring up a significant bottleneck in the coaching workflow and propose a quality-of-life feature update.

******The Problem:******
Right now, the platform is heavily optimized for a top-down workflow (coaches pushing custom recipes down to clients). However, clients frequently create incredible, macro-friendly custom recipes on their end that would highly benefit the rest of my roster. Currently, there is no direct way for a coach to import or copy a client's custom recipe into the coach's own library. I have to look at their diary and manually log each individual ingredient and serving size to replicate it.

Why this feature is likely missing right now:

  • B2C vs. B2B Focus: The consumer side represents the vast majority of Cronometer's 18+ million users, meaning features like consumer widgets or wearable integrations naturally take priority over niche professional workflows.

  • Account Silos: Health data privacy structures likely lock custom assets strictly to the creator's account UID, making lateral sharing across accounts a backend challenge.

  • Legacy Design: Standard industry design historically assumes the coach is the sole provider of the nutrition data, rather than accommodating a collaborative, bidirectional flow.

Proposed Solution:
Add a simple "Copy to Coach Library" or "Share Recipe with Trainer" button within the Professional diary view. Allowing a seamless bottom-up asset transfer would save coaches hours of administrative work and drastically improve the collaborative experience on the platform.

Would love to hear from other coaches if you run into this same hurdle, and hopefully, we can get this on the development roadmap!
