Orange vs white app

Is there a difference between the orange app and the white one? I currently have the orange one and when I updated today and opened the app it asked if I wanted to replace the old orange app with the new white one so I’m a bit confused.

    @fitgirl the orange app is the paid app (one time payment of $2.99 USD for users who do not wish to subscribe to gold but wish to remove ads from their app). We are retiring this app, but it will not affect users who have already purchased it - simply download the new (white) app.
    If you have already purchased the paid (orange) app, you will retain the add free experience you have already paid for when you download the paid app!
