Search feature for Notes
I'd love to see a search feature for notes! I recorded something that I wish I could access through a keyword search.

Hi Nila,
Thanks for your suggestion! I will add it to our list of features to work on.

I would like to second this request. It would so useful to be able to search my notes for something I know I would have noted but don't know the date which could have been weeks or months ago.

This (and the carbon content of food) is basically the only thing that would get me to pay for cronometer. Being able to search my notes for, say, "Optimum longetivity diet", "optimum weight lifting day diet" etc.

Yes, just now looking for this and surprised it’s not an option. I often use notes to document when I’ve made a change in supplements or started doing something that may impact my program. Would like to be able to search for a word in my notes.

I'd first like to say Cronometer is awesome! I started using it because Fitbit food feature is clumsy, sloppy and absolutely useless. Fitbit also lacks a note feature, which was something I really need to use. Cronometer took care of both issues (sort of). I find I access Cronometer more for daily info (it imports lots from Fitbit), which certainly cuts down on having to access umpteen different apps to get the whole picture.
I was so impressed with the platform, after a trail Gold subscription I went ahead and opted in - annual pricing is reasonable and I wanted to support the platform and further development (not so much the need for additional features - Fitbit could take a lesson, but I digress).
All that said, being able to add notes about whatever I want as @Bfitness mentioned - changes to routines, supplements, medications, mood, whatever, is really helpful for me - HOWEVER, not being able to access them later in any meaningful way defeats the purpose. At this point I continue to need a different app (currently my calendar, which isn't ideal - at all) to record notes.
So yes, a Cronometer note search feature, or possibly a dated notes listing (searchable list even better), would, IMO, would certainly make a (pay-it-forward 😅) Gold subscription worth it!

I would love to see a search option! Since this is unavailable at the moment, I write down my food every day in my Day One journal. If I need to find what day I ate something in particular, I CAN search through Day One, and then go back to that day in Cronometer. Yes... It's totally REDUNDANT, but since there's no way to search through Cronometer diary entries, I have no other choice.
