BMR calculation
Does the internal BMR calculation use BMI as calculated by the app or does it rely on body fat % that we must enter? In other words, do we have to enter BF% to ensure proper BMR in the app?

Cronometer uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for RMR, which apparently is:
Women: 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) - 5 x age (year) - 161
Men: 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) - 5 x age (year) + 5So no BF% needed.

@p0wer_lifter the only thing that relies on you logging accurate body fat % is the ketogenic protein targets, so if you're using our keto-mode, make sure you log body fat % to your diary.

@silverbear You can calculate the Katch-McArdle yourself to figure out your BMR. Select "Custom" From the Drop-Down Menu next to BMR in the Profile Tab, and then enter your calculated Value.

I consider the Katch-McArdle to be a more accurate BMR formula, assuming you have an accurate body fat reading. Did you opt for MSJ because all your customers could use it? Would it be a reasonable feature request to allow those who track BF to set their BMR using Katch-McArdle? Thanks.
