Mediation

The exercise component shows the calorie spent on 30 minutes of meditation as 6,000 + calories burned. I know it should be zero but I like to track that I did meditation every day.

  • I'm seeing this too.

  • Hi there,

Could you send us a screenshot of where you are seeing it to support@cronometer? Are you using the New Exercise toggle? Are you seeing this in your account on the website or our mobile app?

We'll look into this further. Thanks!

  • I see it’s been a while since this was posted, but I just wanted to ask if anyone here has noticed changes in sleep quality or focus from adding even short daily meditation sessions. I’ve been trying just 5 minutes each morning and feel a difference, but I’m curious if anyone has tracked actual data like HRV or mood markers in Cronometer to see if they line up.

I've been tracking my mindfulness sessions in Cronometer by adding them as custom exercises with duration and estimated calorie burn. I actually sit by a Chinese incense holder during my nightly 20-minute session, and I just log it afterward with a note. It's simple, and helps me keep some structure without overthinking it.
