New Beta Build Available with Recipe Importer and Nutrition Scores

Want to extend a warm welcome to all of our new Beta testers!

In the latest beta build you’ll get a sneak peek at our new recipe importer and nutrition scores.

Speed up tracking by importing your favorite recipes from any website you like. With this new feature, we import cooking instructions, ingredients and serving sizes. We recognize our matching algorithm still isn't perfect but we are curious to hear what you think! So, go ahead and start importing

Nutrition Scores has been available on the web for some while now and we are pumped that it's going out soon on mobile. Nutrition Scores gives you a bigger picture view of how your diet is meeting your nutrition goals and also includes in-depth details regarding how your micronutrients are contributing to your overall health.

Thanks for your support as we work hard to improve the app and introduce new features.

Look forward to hearing your feedback.

Brendan

  • Wanted to add some further clarification for how to find these new features.

For importing recipes, go to the Foods page -> Create Recipe and from here you will see a blank field where you can paste any recipe website url. Once you've pasted the url, tap "import recipe". From here you'll see all your ingredients with associated serving sizes. You will be required to make some edits to ensure ingredients and serving sizes are accurate.

Nutrition Scores can be found within the diary header, scroll left until you get to the 4th widget display. Here you will see up to 8 scores including; All Targets, Vitamins, Minerals, Electrolytes, Immune Support, Antioxidants, Metabolism Support and Bone Health. There are 11 Nutrition Scores and you can choose which ones you want to display via the Settings page under Targets.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
