What does it mean walking intensity?

I see four different levels of walking execice, what is the differences?

Light-moderate-high-very high.

    Yes, I was just coming here to ask about walking up and down hills. I walk down a steep hill then up a steep hill then a few more blocks with an upward slant. Wondering how to log that.
