Web calendar: week start on Monday
I'm from Europe. Workdays start on Mondays, is it possible with a setting to change the calendar in the web app, so not Sundays starts the weeks?

Hi Mattias,
Cronometer does not have the option to customize your calendar. Thanks for your feedback!

Yes Please. I just came to the forums to see if I missed the option in the Settings but it is nowhere to be found. It is heavily needed.
This request also dates back to 2018, 2019 and 2020

Is it at least on the To-Do list or will we never see that feature?

Another vote. This is REALLY basic, I'm not sure why it isn't available.
-
-
Again. Please allow start of week on Monday for us that do not start our workweek on Sunday.
-
This feature makes sense, from an optimal user experience standpoint. Is it difficult to code in?
Consider my vote cast for this feature.
-
Just adding in my vote as well. Starting on Monday makes sense for a lot of Europeans.
Thanks in advance! -
I let my Gold subscription lapse... there's been very little development from a functionality perspective. For years they've said they'll have a meal planner, only to decide not to do it. Simple updates like this don't happen either.
It sucks, as there is a lot to love about Cronometer... but they place simple things in the Pro subscription to get more subscribers instead of developing its functionality (like the ability to hide calories, which should be in the free version as calorie fixation is associated with disordered eating).
Edit: not sure why my posts have a Gold pin, I'm definitely not a Gold member anymore.

Yeah, I also stopped being a Gold member because of this.
-
This seems like a huge oversight to me can we get some response from developers this is a very basic feature that should already be in the app? Thanks

I’m not from Europe but think there is huge benefit in this. I buy undated paper calendars because i want my weekends lumped together. This would definitely be a great feature.

+1, I am in Canada, but my work week and training starts on Monday
-
please add this feature. does ANYONE actually like have their weekend view split up?
-
Oh, yes! this is a big problem for most people worldwide. Most applications use Sunday as the first day of the week. Still, this system is relevant only to the United States and several other countries.

Still, this system is relevant only to the United States and several other countries. in most countries of the world, the week starts on Monday, so calendar applications are extremely inconvenient. To solve this problem, I created my calendar on https://www.123calendars.com/january-calendar.html and created the necessary notes. It is much more convenient than adjusting to the week's beginning on Sunday.
-
Late to the party, but one more upvote for possibility of setting week start to Monday, pretty please....
-
-
Another upvote, this is implemented by all webapps.
-
Please fix this - it totally breaks the usefullness of the calendar that weeks start on a sunday. Most of the world has weeks starting on monday and most calendar apps and components have this as an option, so please add an option to choose a sane calendar...
-
Another upvote for the option to start the week on Monday please.
-
Yet another upvote.
Do the devs even check these Feature Reqeusts?
Or is it only a venting space for the community? -
Same here. Could be nice if week could start on Monday.
-
+1, this should be a basic setting in 2025 for a product targeting customers globally

Saturday and Sunday are the WeekEND right? They are the END of the week. Ergo Monday is the start. This is batshit crazy.
-
I’d like to join the many users here requesting the option to choose the first day of the week in Cronometer.
As several European users have already pointed out, Monday is the standard start of the week in most of Europe. But it’s important to note that this isn’t only a European issue:
In Asia (e.g. China, Japan), the week also officially starts on Monday.
In Latin America, Monday is the common standard as well.
In the Middle East, the work week starts on Saturday in some countries.
In other words, Sunday-first calendars reflect mostly the North American convention, while the majority of the world actually uses a different standard.
Adding a simple setting to let users pick their preferred start of the week (on both mobile and web) would make Cronometer much more intuitive and user-friendly internationally, without changing the default for those who like Sunday-first.

I cannot believe this has been reported and requested for more over 5 years and there was zero progress on this. It is not a big change at all for your front end team if the software architecture is not a total mess tbh. Or you just dont care about your customers' experience.
And as user support, you should not keep saying" oh well we dont have that feature, thanks" , it is basically same as not responding at all.
I have a subscription for a year but things like this could easily be a reason enough not to extend my subscription. I observe again and again the app assumes too much, taking US ways as default.
Example : organic almond milk increases my calcium intake which is never fortified in Germany. but I know it is in the USA. week starts on sunday. and so on.as a former developer, i cant believe a component tweak or change for the calendar has not happened. in 5 years...get a vibe coding tool and get it done during its trial period for free.. you're welcome
