Hi marie_a_londres,
You can find shared custom foods and recipes when you search for foods to add to your diary. Select Add Food, then select the Custom tab:

Search for recipes by name to find the specific food/recipe that you are looking for.

To be clear, if I purchase the gold membership, i can share my recipes with my spouse and he does NOT have to purchase the gold membership. Correct?

Is there a family membership that both myself and wife could have, or do we both need to purchase?

Unfortunately we don't offer a family plan at this time! You can learn more about our plans and pricing at http://cronometer.com/#plans

Hilary, I have a Pro account and I have several clients using the app in my account. I spent many hours importing and inserting recipes and not one but all of them cannot see the recipes to make them, only to log them. So what's the use in sharing them, bc if that's the way it is, although that's not how I understood it to work, I'll do a mass email with all the links and/or urls and send it to them.
