App miscalculating calories: Showing 100g values for a single serving (17g)

I am trying to add a new candy product to the database, but I’m having trouble with the nutritional information.

According to the nutrition label, there are 335 kcal per 100g. However, when I scan the product and take photos, the app incorrectly assigns 335 kcal to a single piece (17g).

One piece weighs 17g, but it should not be calculated as having the full 335 kcal. How can I correct this so the app understands that 335 kcal is the value for 100g and not for the individual 17g serving

After you take the photos, it will show you all the information it grabbed. Next to serving size you can tap to change the name and the weight. Everything is editable when you are adding a new food item.

  • As you can see I have set the serving size to 17g for 1 piece of candy. But still it thinks that the 335 kcal is for that one piece and not for 100g

But I got a answer form support today and I think that thay have fixed the problem

  • I'm glad you got help from support, but what I was saying was when you added the new item, it allows you to edit the information it grabs in case it is incorrect.
