Favorites Icon on Desktop

Hi all, I am a brand new user. I am trying to add favorites to my food selections. I understand I need to click on the favorites icon next to the food selection however I don't see the icon anywhere on the desktop. I do see it in the mobile app but I use desktop most of the time. Can someone provide me step by step instructions because I'm obviously doing something wrong. Thanks!
