Increase data subscription for UK based clients
An excellent app, but most of the UK bar codes are not recognised . Subscribing to a data base that includes foods from the big supermarkets would make the app much more desirable. In the UK most people use dietplan – which is nowhere near as good as this site in terms of content because it only tracks calories and considers fat as evil, but nearly all of the foods from Waitrose, Ocado, Tesco, Sainsbury are already included in theie database, or obtainable by a quick scan of the bar codes. I tried to scan 20 of these yesterday into this app, but none of them were recognised. It would be marvelous if you could subscribe to the UK database and you would get much bigger take up rate in the UK if you did.

Agree! Great website app, and the Android mobile app is getting better. But the success of this product requires a large, accurate database. I love that users can’t add data, as that’s the plague of MyFitnessPal. But getting UK supermarket databases in would go a LONG way to improving the experience for that important market.

This would be a great help.
I think Nutracheck does the best job of this in the UK. No idea what database they use.
