How do I know how many to count? I have alot of ketones in me, and there is a number associated with that, but is that the same as the amount I am ingesting?
You don't need to enter anything yourself, unless you are adding a custom food that contains BHB listed on the label (Exogenous Ketones)! You can learn more about the addition of BHB to our nutrient database here: https://cronometer.com/blog/how-to-track-beta-hydroxybutyrate-with-cronometer/
If you want to track you breath, blood, or urine ketones, add the reading you have taken to Cronometer as a Biometric: https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018302431-Add-a-Biometric
As always, any and all postings here are covered by our T&Cs:https://forums.cronometer.com/discussion/27/governing-terms-and-disclaimer
Just a word of warning when tracking the nutrient value for BHB. This is the nutrient value contained in the food listing - we have only recently added this to our list of nutrients and it is only listed in a select few ketone supplements. Your Blood ketone or Urine Ketone values will be very different than the BHB value listed in a diary entry for a supplement.
Okay, so the numbers mean different things. But how do I use it?
Do I just not do anything to it until/unless I am taking exogenous Ketones?
