Barcode scanning differences between iOS and Android
I attempted to scan a food item on my phone running Android (pixel2) and there wasn't an entry found. However I scanned the same exact barcode on my girlfriends iPhone X and her iOS Cronometer found the exact item. I thought this was interesting as the databases I figured would be external requests to the databases and not stored locally on the specific device. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

It is the same database for all devices. I would suggest that perhaps there may have been a glare on the barcode, and retrieved the incorrect number? I would recommend trying it again! It could be as well, that between the two scans we had added it to the database, if you had submitted it when you weren't able to access it via your phone originally!

Hi @Hilary I tried multiple times after I discovered her iPhone scanned it, but it could have been camera related between the two operating systems.
@Marie_Eve_H unfortunately I don't have it any more. It was this bread from Wegmans. https://www.wegmans.com/products/bakery/bread-packaged/wheat-bread/100--whole-wheat-sandwich-bread.html
The results identified on the iPhone was an exact match of the label on the back of the physical bread. I forget which database it was found in, but it wasn't the CRDB. One of the external sourced DBs.
