Binge Eater day 2
Tuesday, May 7th: Monday was a success! I did HIIT on the elliptical machine for about 25 minutes and added in some burpees, knee push-ups, and crunches. I didn't eat til about lunchtime, not starving myself just trying to listen to my hunger cues. When I followed the carnivore diet, I only ate two meals a day and did not… -
Search by ingredient ratio
Getting Energy, Carbs, Protein and fat all very close to 100% can be a real challange. Let's assume my meal is almost complete. 4% Protein, 2% Carbs and 8% fat to go for a perfect score. Is there a way to list ingredients that are ideal to add to this meal? Preferable only looking at the percentages left in the meal. But… -

Re: Focusing on Calorie Density as Effective Way to Lose Weight
I lost seventy pounds eating high carb/fiber and low fat. I use calorie density so that I can eat more volume. I add a lot of veggies to my meals which is how you bring the calorie density down. It's not hard really, you can just use the 50/50 plate idea so that half your meal is veggies and the other half is the starchy… -
Re: How to accurately log and track ingredients used in a custom recipe
Thank you, JanetR606, for your reply. Unfortunately, when searing meat, especially a fatty cut, there is always more fat afterwards than what I began with. Thought I would share my recipe for Aztec Salad because I know some of you eat vegetarian (and this might be vegan too depending on your take on honey) - and so yummy. I serve as a side, but also sometimes over grilled chicken. 2 sweet potatoes (about 20 oz raw) 2 tomatillos 2 ears of corn 1 red pepper 1 mango 2 bunches… -

Re: 17 grams of Omega-6 = Minimum
That's what I was looking for. I read your blog post too. Very interesting. From your point of view, what is the maximum grams of Omega-3 one should take daily from all sources? Does 8 grams of omega-3 daily is too much? I take Life Extension Fish oil : 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening plus the omega-3 from my hemp… -
