Difference in cup size measurements for various foods
Hi guys, I was looking up the nutritional info of different whole grains, and I find that amount selected per cup serving of different grain types is not the same. For e.g. Quinoa - 1 cup is 185 gram Brown rice (medium grain) - 1 cup is 195 gram Basmati rice (medium grain) - 1 cup is 196 gram All the above are based on… -
Cooked spinach
Hi..When I measure 2 cups raw spinach and then add it to chronometer...it's like 1/4 of a cup after it's cooked...do I add it as 1/4 cup of spinach or do I add it as 2 cups of spinach? So far I've been adding it as 2 cups cooked raw spinach...but after cooked it's only like 1/4 cup which is way different nutrient value… -

On a related note, why is the Omega3 to Omega6 ratio roughly 1:10? Such high ratios (or higher) are only measured in industrial populations and are at least one cause for obesity.
