Very long load times.

The last few months have seen Cronometer taking a rather long time(minutes) to load. I have looked through recent topics here and haven't seen anyone else mention it, which leads me to think something is wrong on my end.
Are there any settings that could be causing this? I have been consistently using the app since March, so there is 4 months of chart data there.

My phone is a samsung j5pro.

Any ideas?

    Thanks for reporting this. This is something that we have seen, but have subequently fixed. Are you using our most recent version of the app? In which screens is this happening? We were seeing this issue when using the barcode scanner before!

  • Hi @Hilary, thanks for getting back to me. I saw Cronometer updating last night, it is currently version 2.1.1. I will let you know if the issue persists beyond this point or not, but I will describe what has been happening.

    It happens when loading the food diary. In the morning it will quite often hang while loading yesterdays food diary, and then i will have to manually adjust to the current day. Also when returning to the app after a couple of hours, the food diary will be displayed in the background but the loading ring will take a long time to clear.

  • Good morning @Hilary.
    The problem persists. Yesterday I logged breakfast and lunch, all fine, but when I returned to add in my afternoon meal, I got a real long loading time. And this morning logging breakfast I gave up waiting for it to load, shut everything down and started it over.
    I just opened it again to look at the UI, and had another long load, only minutes after having successfully logged breakfast.
