Paid App vs Monthly Subscription
I just downloaded this app and noticed there is a free version, a paid app version for $2.99 and a Gold Subscription.
My question is what is the difference between the paid app and the gold subscription?

@ShundaMR The Free App is the basic version with advertisements shown on your screen. The paid app ($2.99) is the basic account but advertisements will not be displayed on your screen (No added features). The Gold subscription is a recurring payment which provides added features and no advertisements. You can learn more about the gold subscription here: http://cronometer.com/#gold

I think it works like this:
Phone App | Subscription | Ads / Features ======================================================== Free | Free | Ads on app Free | Gold/Pro | No ads on app + extra features Paid | Free | No ads on app Paid | Gold/Pro | No ads on app + extra features (but money spent on app unnecessary)

So, basically if you are going to sign up for "Gold" then get the Free app? Can I sign up for Gold on the website and it works in the iPhone app or vice-versa?

@mbacas You got it! Your account is linked to your email address, so as long as you log in with the same credentials as you signed up with gold for with you will always have Gold access!

I decided to pay for the app (as I don't see the gold version as worth it for me), but I couldn't find it.
Am I being stupid, or have you removed it from the Google Play Store?

Hi jefmcg,
We phased out the paid app and it is no longer available from the Google Play Store. Sorry about that!

Nothing to apologise for. If I'd bought it just before you got rid of it, I'd be a little annoyed.
